A new short story from author W. P. Long has just been published on Amazon's KDP platform.

It’s the story of a man who finds a fortune in a hotel lobby on a far flung mining colony, only to discover that nothing in life is truly free.

The first entry in his planned "The Clues of The NPCs" series, this short story is a sci-fi noir homage to T. S. Stribling's A Passage To Benares.

Each entry in this series will be priced at 99 cents on Amazon, and will be made available through the Kindle Unlimited program for free!
