Submissions Policy

 

Thank you for your interest in onebear. At this time, onebear does not accept unsolicited manuscripts or related materials, including full manuscripts, partial drafts, query letters, or synopses, unless specifically requested. Any such materials sent without prior request will be deleted or destroyed without being opened or reviewed.

 

onebear offers no confidentiality for unsolicited submissions. By submitting materials, you acknowledge that onebear may independently develop or publish similar ideas without any obligation or compensation to you.

 

Introduction by Letter of Interest

onebear welcomes brief letters of interest from authors introduced by literary agents, editors, or other publishing professionals. To be considered, please have your representative send a concise email (no more than 500 words) to submit@onebearpublishing.com, including:

 

• A short biography highlighting your relevant experience in [your space, e.g., speculative fiction, non-fiction, etc.].

• A one-paragraph summary of your proposed project.

• Contact information for the introducing professional.

 

Letters of interest sent without a professional introduction or exceeding these guidelines will be treated as unsolicited and discarded without review.

 

onebear will respond only to letters of interest that align with our current priorities, and no response does not imply rejection. Submission of a letter of interest does not create any obligation, confidentiality, or compensation agreement unless explicitly stated in writing by onebear.

onebear has no plans to accept open submissions in the near future. When submissions are accepted, detailed guidelines will be posted on this website. Until then, no rights or obligations are created by sending materials to onebear.
